The M-Class facelift prototype was caught testing in South Germany with a black and white camouflage. The front is heavily disguised, hinting at bigger changes.
It will likely come with a redesigned front fascia equipped with a single-bar grille, different headlights and a modified bumper. The rear looks identical to the current model, though we can expect new exhaust tips and even new light graphics there.
Interior is also well covered, hiding possible updates to the central console.
This could be the rumored hybrid variant which is expected to join the range along with a ML 400 derivative. The latter will allegedly receive a V6 3.0-liter twin-turbo generating around 330 bhp (246 kW) and 474 Nm (350 lb-ft).
The facelifted M-Class will probably be launched as a 2015 model year so chances are we will see it in October at the Paris Motor Show before going on sale shortly thereafter.
