These spy shots show the latest work on a prototype for the 2014 model. New images show the AMG-style exhaust outlets, the paired-parallelogram design unique from the typical Mercedes-Benz outlets, and the first time they’ve been seen on the S 63 AMG development prototype.
The S 63 AMG will feature a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which in its current form delivers 530 hp at 5.500 rpm and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) from 2.000 to 4,500 rpm in standard trim, and 556 bhp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) with the optional performance package.
The range-topping S 65 AMG will get the current model’s 6.0-liter bi-turbocharged V12 engine making 621 hp (630 PS) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft).
